The Dell G7 15 is a looker and an easily upgradeable gaming laptop, but its display is too dim and the keyboard is shallow. It’s one of Dell’s G series gaming laptops, the step before you go to Alienware. It has great specs for the price but is prone to overheating. HWMonitor is especially helpful if you’re concerned about thermal throttling of the Dell G7. Basically, if you want the performance of an Alienware for less money and in a body that doesn’t look as much like a typical aggressive gaming laptop, the Dell G7 15 is certainly worth considering.
