DJI Tello is definitely worth it. There are a lot of budget-friendly options out there, but none come close to Tello in terms of flight time and camera quality. Ryze states that the Tello’s maximum operating range is about 330 feet (100 meters). I lost the video signal well before that, at about 100 feet away, in an area with little-to-no Wi-Fi interference.but we should not fly the drone at night, weak light, reflective surface, repeated patterns and other improper environmental factors will make the VPS disable, causing the drone switching into ATTI mode, that cannot hover in place and has a horizontal drifting. Also DJI Ryze Tello uses brushed motors, when they get old, the motors will lose thrust. The average lifespan is about 40 hours, but it really depends on how you use your Tello. There is no obvious indicator telling you that the motors need to be replaced.
