Global Xiaomi 12 Pro : New Device Get Listed by The FCC

The FCC has listed the Xiaomi 12 Pro globally. Xiaomi only made announcements regarding the 12-series a few days before New Year’s Eve, and only in China. The bulk of the world is waiting for a global launch, and while no date has been set, there are signs that the launch date is approaching. Xiaomi 12 Pro is a smartphone from Xiaomi. Recently, the Xiaomi 12 Pro and its vanilla equivalent were discovered in the databases of an Indonesian telco. The Pro is also scrutinized by the FCC, and it appears in a number of benchmarks. According to the FCC, the phone (2201122G) will support the five sub-6 bands of 5G, which are n5, n7, N38, n51, and n77. It also offers Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, which isn’t available in all areas (e.g., in the EU). NFC is also available in the European Union. The Qualcomm modem in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset enables 5G connectivity.

Geekbench examined the Xiaomi 12’s base model, which included 8GB of RAM (that device scored even lower, which suggests that the firmware is not fully functional for the market). The phone, which was running Chrome 96 for Android 12, was also mentioned in the HTML5Test database. It’s worth noting that this test result was obtained two months prior to Xiaomi’s announcement of the 12 Series, implying that work on the worldwide version has been ongoing for some time.

While the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are slated for a global release, the Xiaomi 12X, the series’ third member, is expected to follow suit. The launch date is uncertain, but previous leaks have hinted that Xiaomi 12 is aiming for February or March, and there’s no reason to suppose that its two siblings won’t be there as well.
