Samsung has rightly been accused of producing boring, generic phones in the past, but the Galaxy S6 Edge is a welcome departure
Performance is absolutely phenomenal and the quality of photos you can take with this phone’s camera is just staggering
The benefits of the curved screen are largely cosmetic, and the few software tweaks aren’t enough to justify the price premium this phone commands over its flat twin, the Galaxy S6
Moreover there isn’t much to be gained from only bumping up processor speeds and screen resolutions year-on-year; the overall experience of using a device has to be new and exciting enough to convince people to upgrade
