Xiaomi Lost Its Second-Place in Global Market

Xiaomi as of now misplaced its second-place status on the worldwide showcase. At the end of July, 2021 – we heard very exciting news that Apple had misplaced its normal status as the world’s second-largest smartphone OEM. The company that thumped Apple down a peg was Xiaomi. But the true news is Xiaomi Lost Its Second-Place in Global Market actually.

IDC said that Apple transported 50.4 million smartphones over the third quarter of 2021. Which is almost 6.1 million phones more than Xiaomi. That is the time when Xiaomi has lost its second place and back in third place.

However there are a parcel of other components that choose the top-five status of worldwide smartphone OEMs. Yearly shipment is one of the most important factors among them. Their position and rank depends on the shipment of the phone. Revenue is the other factor as well. Phone pricing and demand depends on the revenue. The point is that by this one metric — the number of smartphones transported over one quarter — Apple is Number Two.

That is how Xiaomi lost its second place and took the third place in the Global Market.

Of course, Samsung remains comfortably within the best space at 69 million phones dispatched, generally 18.6 million more than Apple and 24.7 million more than Xiaomi. Adjusting out the fourth and fifth put openings we see a tie between Vivo and Oppo, which is how the list more often than not looks.

Once Huawei was at the top but now according to the factors Samsung took that place and Huawei is no longer at the top now.

But we have to consider that this scenario is not permanent either. Every year the list changes and we see different companies and brands entering the list. However this post is based on the latest news and information.
