Sony Xperia Pro is incoming with improved camera sensors and variable aperture. On Monday, Sony will host a gaming event where a new smartphone may or may not be unveiled. It has been speculated, however, that the Xperia Pro-I, a successor model emphasizing photography, will be introduced in November. According to the rumor, Sony will introduce a phone with three cameras that have 48MP resolution and new and improved sensors. Additionally, one of them will have an aperture range of f/1.2 to f/4.0. The 48MP pixel binning will allow the trio of cameras to capture images at a natural 12MP resolution.

The primary camera, according to the source, will contain a 1′′ IMX903 sensor, and the ultrawide camera, a 1/1.3′′ IMX803 imager. The 1/1.7′′ IMX557 sensor was used by the Xperia 1 II and Xperia 5 IV. Therefore, a newer model of this sensor should be present in the telephoto camera.

However, the successor is switching to a Quad-Bayer arrangement while the previous two featured a native 12MP resolution. When the long-rumored Xperia Pro-I Mark II finally makes an appearance in public, we might also be able to see a new Internet service provider.
